Ashraf on his own

Ashraf is definitely a little explorer. He ventured into his cousin's room, climbed onto the table (yes, yes ... he is doing lots of climbing!) and took down the markers. What did he do with the markers? Well, there was no paper around and Alhamdullilah, he did not take the walls or the floors as drawing canvas, he turned to his limbs and let his artistic juices flow ...
Here is a result of his masterpiece
After the balcony climbing episode, he turned to other things to climb. This time, he attempted to climb onto his tricycle. What he attempts to do ... I dunnoe. I dread to know his actual intention but I hope being a stuntman is not in the pipelines.

See how daring he is ... Masya'Allah ... right after this shot is taken, Aisyah has decided to join in. Unfortunately no pictures have been taken. Not to worry ... it'll come soon.

Asiyah has an older sister???

The one in yellow is evidently Aisyah ... but who is the similar-looking girl beside her? Her sister??? Hmm ... since when did Aisyah has an older sister? Older brother yes ... but sister? Hmm ... interesting ...

No more pondering ... the pretty one in pink is Nurul Hannah, Aisyah's 2nd cousin. They look similar and have similar likes like big, red, juicy tomatoes ... Aisyah took after her cousin's appetite ...

Aisyah again

It's been raining and cold this December ... well, that does not stop us from bringing Aisyah out for a shopping trip. So here is she, all dressed up to the jacket (compliments to her Wan) ... love the top really ... but there's none in my size. Bummer ... but it looks good on her.
Together with her 3rd cousin, Nur Aliyah ... all out for shopping in this wet December!

Aisyah + Ao Yai (Vietnamise costume) = ???
Answer =
Aisyah is all dressed up in the Vietnamise costume (direct from Vietnam, thanks to her Abi!) Well, I got one too but that's beside the story. Alhamdullilah ... she is gorgeous. Yes, I know ... I kept complimenting her. I am her mom, duh!

Spiderman in the making?

Just as we thought Ashraf would just play soccer, cars and such ... we didn't realise he has been following in someone else footsteps. In the a matter of 5 minutes, Ashraf went to the balcony, climbed onto the chair, latched himself onto the window grills. Does he stop there???
NOPE ... look at the picture below ...
He actually gone beyond and climbed all the way to the top. Serious. The hand holding him was just a safety precaution taken in case he slipped.
With his uncanny agility and strength, should i push him towards Sports Climbing? Wonder if the many times he came to see my students climb left some impact on him ...

Early morning ...

It was just about 6.30 in the morning ... and no one serious look as good as my little Princess here ...
Saw the camera and she gamely sat up and smiled!
Not to mention even more game to put on the tiara and pose.

Aisyah's very First Birthday

The birthday princess just after she don the lovely white dress which originally belongs to her Aunt Sofea. Such radiance and twinkle in her eyes ... my dear Aisyah
It has been a year of ups and downs. Labour pains, post-natal blues. vaccinations, visits to the doctors, lots of shopping for dresses and accessories, shoes, outings and many more ... A year has gone past and now little Baby Aisyah is ONE YEAR OLD!!!
Here she is with part of her cake, dragging the table cloth closer to her so she is within touching range of the cake. Lovely blackforest cake + white lovely dress = NOT good. So imagine her scolding when we pulled the table cloth away from her.
On the other hand, just by the corner of the above table is her brother, Ashraf who will be celebrating his birthday soon ... (14 more days to be exact). He is more independent now, waiting to eat on his own. Good as it sounds, it does not look good. Look below ...

Well, it looks clean ... but there were cake debris on the table, shirt and all over Ashraf's face!

And here is she, white glory and all as she attempts to walk a few steps on her own. Soon she will be walking and then running and then ... well, she has already been climbing up the stairs so it's no wonder :)

I-K-E-A

Where is Aisyah? Where is Aisyah?
IKEA ... IKEA
How is she today, dear? Very chirpy, thank you, Sir!
Babbling away ... babbling away ...
We brought Aisyah to IKEA and she was put in the trolley for the first. She behaved well!!! And she is definitely enjoying the different sights and colours ... not to mention getting swooned at by many visitors at IKEA ... well, I don't blame them ... just look at her!
Hmm ... how come the other person looked just like me ... interesting??? Ummi ... do I have a twin whom you have been hiding???
Let's shake hands ... hands out ...
Can't resist ... ended up taking video of her ... she is speaking more and more now ... in her baby language of course ... anyone can make sense of it??? Please translate for me!!!

crashed hard disk

Today, is a wonderful day. Started off well ... a bit gloomy but my spirits were high. Students were cooperating and more focused too. But the saddest thing appeared when I was told that my laptop hard disk has crashed physically and there is minimal hope of saving whatever data in it. Not that I mind losing those data ... but what I treasured the most are pictures of my kids are lost too! Sigh ... my own flaw ... procrastinate and putting developing photos on hold ... now I faced the consequences.

One possible hope is to send the hard disk to a specialist but the cost can run up to thousands. Oh dear ... should I? ... My advise to all ... hard copies are wonderful to have. Don't wait ...

But THANK YOU to my dear 3/2 students who cheered up my day eventually! Guess what they did??? They did a video in preparation for their graduation. Aren't they sweet ... now I have a copy of that video and I viewed it together with my Aisyah. Here she is mesmerised by the antics of my students ...

They did a wonderful job ... well done! If my girl likes it, then it's good. Should I show it to you??? Naah ... it shall be released at a proper date and time. In fact, I believe it's the first of the many to come.

Peek-A-Boo!!!

What happens when Aisyah gets hold of the white curtain below?

Guess??? You sure??? Let's see ...

Peek-A-Boo ... Now you see ME, now you don't!!!
