More pictures

By popular requests and many inquiries ... here are the pictures of our beloved kids ... here they are ... early in the morning, right before i left for school ... the two siblings rolled around on the mattress and arranging themselves neatly side by side. Not to mention, their eyes twinkling in delight ... one very important picture.
Aisyah by now has been introduced to semi-solid food and Alhamdullilah, she revered them! Seriously ... she would screamed out when we were late in giving her food. And I do mean scream ...
Ashraf has taken to writing and scribbling on paper. Whenever he saw anyone of us writing or doing work, he would also want to follow. So point of advise, please have extra paper and pens ready when you want to do work when Ashraf is around. Just to keep him occupied with others rather than your work.

June Holidays ...

School is out and holidays are here! But somehow the word holidays doesn't really mean holiday. Work still goes on ... only BIG difference, no classes or lessons to do.

So what happened since the holidays started ... one by one in the family fell ill. Starting the pack is Aliyah whom we had to rush to A&E as all the clinics were closed. Then Yuyun and Ashraf fell ill ... followed by Nazzer and finally myself and Mak. Surprisingly ... i only fell ill when we were in KL. Bummer! Spent the whole day in the hotel, recupperating. No shopping till 3 hours before departure. Otherwise ... it was a pleasant trip, meeting up with relatives.

But throughout the trip Ashraf threw some of the worst tantrums we can find. MasyaƁllah ... he did not recovered during the trip so he was seriously cranky. Aisyah on the other hand was so pleasant and throughly enjoyed her trip. But one thing i am glad ... we managed to go on short trips. Now I am more adventurous to cover more places. Now looking for a suitable time to return to Malacca ... and longer period too as well.

Marching Parade style

Aiks ... what is Ashraf doing looking up at his cousins like that ...
And not only once ... but many times as well. Hmm ... looks like a scene from the marching parade where the VIP will inspect the cadets and troops.
Turned out he is 'inspecting' his cousins during Maghrib prayers this evening. Even to the point of showing them how it should be done. Here he is, showing how to sujud ...
Slowly and steady ... make sure must be able to balance your weight before placing your forehead on the prayer mat. Focus ... focus ...
Wah ... is this the making of an Ustaz Ashraf amongst us? What do you think?

brotherly love

why is Aisyah all so smiling and all ...
And suddenly not so smiling at all ... but look at Ashraf ... hmm ...
Turned out that Ashraf has just given Aisyah a brotherly hug ...
not only once but ... but twice. To the point of making Aisyah exasperated below ...
But in all ... we are thankful for the lovely two children we are given ... no doubt it wasn't an easy task to take care of them, they have given us more reason to smile and chuckle to ourselves.

Vivian & Ash Tan

finally it's here ... 8 May when Vivian & Ash shared with us their wonderful day together ...
We are in the midst of exams and this superwoman here just did a musical and arranged for her wedding dinner and all ... salutes to her!!!
While waiting for the bride and the groom to come ... here we are, guests of table 28 ... with the food waiting to be eaten ...
4 handsome guys at my table ... actually there is one more but wonder where is he???
Suet Chow & me ... she was invigilating exams in the morning and then helping out with the reception in the evening. And she still look her best ... I just looked the same ... must be some conspiracy!!!

But all the same, it's a wondering gathering ... with all the funny querks and comments being passed around. The wedding couple being gamely and bubbly (yupe there were quite a number of bubbly drinking. It's a wedding ... of course there were some ... duh!) A nice detour from the daily norm. But whatever it is ...
Congratulations Vivian & Ash!
Thank you for sharing your special day with us ...

Oh yes ... my son's wish to you ... he's waiting for a friend, k ...

our princess ... Siti Aisyah

Away for so long ... we are back!!!

May peace be upon you. Masya'Allah, more than a month has passed and there was no updates on my blog. You must have been wondering what has happened. To cut it short ... I returned back to work, the kids fell ill at different time ... eventually I succumbed and fell ill too. Sadly enough both Aisyah and I are down with runny nose. Sigh ... so i am surrounded with tissues.
Back to the script ... not much photos were taken ... so here are some precious new ones we took of Ashraf & Aisyah. I can't help it but put a bandana on Aisyah ... isn't she pretty ... sigh ... She was game enough to take photos but soon after the runny nose irritates her again so off goes the bandana.
Here Ashraf spot the bandana but in the form of a tanjak, a headgear worn by Malays in the yesteryears. I would like to call him Hang Tuah ... but since his eyes are small so I am sticking to Hang Sepet ...
Here the brother and sister pose in the morning ... Aisyah just had her bath while Ashraf is about to have his ... Alhamdullilah, they remained loving as ever.
But the most development is Ashraf. He can walk!!! Yes, he can! But no photos as yet. Don't worry ... will add them soon. And also be very mindful of him ... he has more teeth now. So his bite can be quite a bite :)

Pretty little Princess

For Aisyah's cukur rambut ceremony, Aisyah was dressed up in pink ... See how she poses for the camera :)
So got potential as baby model like the brother, huh ...

Brotherly-sisterly LOVE!!!

What a pleasant surprise ... this early morning, Wan placed Aisyah on Ashraf's lap. He hugged his sister without a moment to lose. Aren't they simply adorable ...
We thought that it was just a coincidence so we tried another pose ... he still hugged her. Syukur alhamdullilah ...
Possibly my favourite picture to date ... sigh ... Syukur alhamdullilah ... Thank you Allah for the beautiful children you have given us ... Syukur alhamdullilah ... Ashraf love his sister a lot ... we hope and pray for the same for Aisyah for her brother. Amin ...

Couz Power!!!

Alhamdullilah, many people turned up at Aisyah's cukur rambut ceremony. What makes it more fun is Syamil turned up too!!! See how the cousins chum up to each other ...
Hmm ... looks like that they are having a serious discussion ...
Aww ... cousinly love ... sigh ... aren't both of them adorable. Cute huh ...

Like Atuk like Grandson :)

Alhamdullilah, Daddy is able to come down to Singapore for Aisyah's cukur rambut ceremony. But guess who make the most of his visit ... it's none other than my little hero!!!
So how? Don't they look alike??? Duh ... grandpa & grandson ...
Eh Atuk ... what do you have there? Macam sedap je ... nak sikit!!!
Wah, manjanya Ashraf bersama Atuknya. Who can resists the charms of my hero ... Atuk especially ... so here he is, feeding Ashraf ... Aaww ....

Siti Aisyah @ 2 months

SubhanAllah ... time really fly past. It was 2006 and now already 2007. Aisyah has grown to be a lovely baby ... here are some photos of dearest Aisyah ...
Heheh ... see my little girl in her first skirt. Cute huh!!!
Here's a close-up shot of my princess ... she has grown chubbier now :)

Opps ... I split water!!!

One day, Ashraf was playing at the coffee table and saw his sister's bottle. He decided to play with the bottle cap.
Unfortunately, after several tries, he split water from the bottle instead. So he took upon himself to clear up the mess. He took tissue paper from his Abi and started wiping the split water up.
Once all the split water is cleared ... it's clearly an achievement. See the glee on his face!!!

Ashraf going to school

Ashraf has been busy lately. Busy with what??? With school, of course!!!
No ... Ashraf is not going to school yet. Wan has prepared a study corner for him with a table and chair to complete. Just add books and the corner is complete. Here is he, at his very own study corner.
Wah wah ... see how industrious he is ... learning about numbers.
Okay ... now he is trying to put the jigsaw piece in the correct place. With assistance of course ...
Not to mention, his study corner comes with a bag for Ashraf too. Like he is going to school, huh ... not to mention, he is adorable, right :)
