Ashraf's baby sister

Whatever we do, we must be thankful. Once again, Allah has blessed my family by insyaƁllah, a new addition to the family. Yes, I am pregnant again. According to the scan I had last week, Ashraf might be having a little sister by the end of this year ... So if you see me on the street with a bulging tummy ... you know why :)

Any suggestions for baby girl names? I am open to suggestions?

Remembering a dear fren ...

Got the shock of my life when Ilah called to pass me the news. Disbelief and sadness took over when I finally got hold of the Berita Harian with news of our fren, Allahyarham Roslan has passed away in a road accident.
Back in secondary school, he was a spunky person with a cheery eyes. Reading the articles brought back many memories ... sure had some setbacks but reading on how he worked 2 jobs to support his family ... syukur Alhamdullilah ... he was a fillial son. And he passed away while he was working. Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat keatasnya ... ringankan beban keluarganya.
One by one, people I know passed away, be it young or old ... when is our turn?

away on NPCC camp ...

It used to be Nazzer who has to go away. Now it's my turn to be away from my dear son. Just a few hours into the camp, i missed Ashraf so much. My first NPCC camp and I wasn't sure of what to expect. I was very relieved to see that the camp is on auto-pilot, meaning that the Cadet Inspectors are very able and run everything themselves. So in other words, teachers have to be around for the 'in-case' problems. So here I am so very tempted to bring Ashraf over ... should i? Or shouldn't i?

Ashraf walking ... soon, insya'Allah

When supported, Ashraf is stepping forward. In other words, menapak!!! So to help him being more mobile, Ashraf got a walker to play with. Sincerely it's a wonderful thing to have. At least now that we are staying at our place at Queenstown. So when I am cooking and Ashraf is away, he will be playing with his toys on the mattress. Now he can be in his walker and I can still keep a closer eye on him.
This photo is taken before he sleeps. Can see his sleepy 'sepet' eyes? Will add more pictures of him in action with his walker ...

diaper change time!!!

It's time for a diaper change right before sleep time tonight. Here is Ashraf with his Abi who is changing the diaper for Ashraf. Focus on Ashraf's hands ... he sure wanna help his Abi with the diaper change.
See how enthusiatic he is ... he kept pushing his Abi's hands away. Shortly after this, Ashraf rolled over and played with the bolster on his side. Now changing diapers is like a wrestling session with this little one. He sure is spunky and very strong!!!

hot, hot, hot!

it's hot, hot, hot outside! can you feel the heat?

Cak!!!

Peek-ka-BOO!!
Sigh ... can anyone work with this smile??? I can't for sure ... :P

Future soccer player ???

This is the famous Nakata Hidetoshi, soccer player from Japan. Was the AFC Asian player of the year for 1997-1998. Not to mention many other honours too ...
Here is Muhammad Ashraf once again ... but isn't he simply adorable!!! Now he sure can pass off as a Japanese boy. And does he look like Nakata above? According to his Tok Mukthi, he does. What's ur take?

It's playtime!!!

Ashraf is so happy after a day out with his Atuk who came all the way from Malacca. And play and play he did ... see how happy he is at the end of the day :)
His gums are itchy again ... he would be cranky. Solution is a his gum cum teeth massager (in blue) Put it over a finger and place it on the gums and rub nicely from side to side ... he enjoys it so much. Isn't it obvious!
Playtime with Abi dear ... he's on top of the world ...
So the soccer fever do not just transend the adults. Ashraf got it too ... but version comes in the pink and blue beach ball which he will kick and grab. Gearing up for soccer ... guys, watch out! Soccer player in the making :P

inching forward

Muhammad Ashraf is now very active ... he will take a short nap and wake up before Maghrib. This is taken after his nap and before his bedtime. He is not exactly crawling now but is slowly inching forward bit by bit ...
Here he is, aiming for the handphone. In fact, he can move and change direction 180 degrees. Yes ... it's true!!!
