Last Wednesday was a day not to be reckon with. From afternoon all the way to 9 at night, it was filled with apprehension, tension, fright and many more ...
However the one which really shook me was when Aisyah was referred to A&E department. In other words, going to a hospital in the middle of the night. There was a lump on Aisyah's thigh. Not sure what it is, Aisyah was brought to a GP to treat it. The GP wasn't sure what it is. In fact, he doesn't dare to diagnose it. But when he mentioned about referring to a hospital, I simple buckled and cried my lungs out. Images of tubes, possible surgery ran through my mind. My little girl, less than 2 months old, having to be admitted!!! I simply doesn't know what to do ... Nazzer is away in Japan ... so I felt simply helpless, Masya'Allah ... thankfully my mother-in-law and sister-in-law accompanied me to East Shore. Upon reaching, we request for a Pediatrician ... syukur alhamdullilah, we get the Pediatrician who attended to Aisyah when she was borned. And syukur Alhamdullilah once again ... he diagnosed the lump to be a reaction to the vaccination. Aisyah just had a jab last Saturday. The lump is not dangerous but it will be a while before it disappeared. So it's nothing to be worried about. Just need to monitor her temperature and extra gentle when attending to her diapers.
Syukur Alhamdullilah ... sincerely, it was a great scare. Having to send a child to the hospital at night and Nazzer was away due to work. Alhamdullilah ... nothing serious comes out of it :)
Here's a quick update on the kids ...
Ashraf is now 8 kg
Aisyah is 4.5 kg.
